The Lakes Mall Announces Special Events Crawl!

Muskegon, MI (September 10, 2013) – The “Special Events Crawl” is being presented by Envision 360 Events and Watermark 920. The event will feature vendors who offer catering, venues, music, photography services, lighting, flowers and more for a variety of special occasions and special events such as weddings, corporate meetings and many others. The event will be held on Sunday, September 22, at The Lakes Mall from 11am to 6pm. If you have a special occasion coming up and planning a party you can find everything you need all in one day and one location. This event is also serving a cause to benefit The Greater Muskegon Service League. Attendees may register by donating a gently-used formal wear item or by paying $5. All formal wear donations benefit The Greater Muskegon Service League and will be used in their boutique treasure sale to be held in May of 2014. The funds from the treasure sale will offer support throughout the community to numerous organizations that support women and children in the Muskegon area. All those contributing to this cause will receive a registration packet including a free copy of Grand Rapids Bride magazine, and hundreds of dollars of valuable mall coupons and special offers. In addition, registered participants will be invited to enter-to-win an outstanding Grand Prize giveaway package valued at over $10,000 which includes a host of gift certificates and prizes from participating vendors, local businesses and The Lakes Mall retailers.

Customers are invited to attend this event that will be a destination for those that are planning events this fall through the end of the year and into 2014. This is a great opportunity for the community to seek out the new trends in fashion, décor, floral arrangements, color schemes, photography, entertainment and more. There will be fashion shows featuring Quinceanos, Homecoming, Prom, Holiday, Bridal, and Honeymoon fashions, emceed by Britta Cleveland from Clear Channel Radio. Over 30 vendors will participate including A&W Disc Jockeys, Blueberry Haven, Carol’s Bridal, Design 2 Print, Desserts by Design, Digital Joe’s, Eastern Floral, Envision 360 Events, Flowers by Ray & Sharon, Fricano’s, Greater Muskegon Service League, J & K Party Bus, J. About The Greater Muskegon Service League

The Greater Muskegon Service League was established in 1930 with 14 charter members. These women organized to serve the community by devoting time to worthwhile projects as well as by giving financial aid to organizations that were involved in community service. The founders hoped that the Service League might become a valuable organization to be continued by daughters, families, and friends. Through the years, Service League has grown to over 270 members. Many members of the organization have given innumerable hours and great service through the years to establish an outstanding record of contributions to the community totaling more than $600,000. The mission is to support the community by providing volunteer service and charitable gifts.
