Miss Michigan and Pageant Contestants Visit The Lakes Mall

MUSKEGON, MI (May 7, 2013): Thirty-three Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant contestants vying for the title of Miss Michigan 2013 will arrive Wednesday, June 12 for the annual appearance at The Lakes Mall in Muskegon. The reigning Miss Michigan Angela Venditti will make her appearance during the event.

Hundreds of visitors and area residents attend the popular autograph-photograph day each year with many waiting patiently for several hours to be first in line for the Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant day at The Lakes Mall. The appearance at The Lakes Mall is a preview of the official contestants for the 2013 Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant.

Contestants and 2012 Miss Michigan Angela Venditti will sign autographs with photo opportunity at The Lakes Mall in the Food Court near the Children’s Play Area. The Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant will be held over three days at Muskegon’s Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts. The new Miss Michigan will be crowned during this year’s Scholarship Pageant held in downtown Muskegon on Saturday, June 15. The Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant has been a Muskegon tradition since 1950.

The autograph-photograph event will begin at Noon on Wednesday, June 12. The event will take place in the food court near the children’s play area.
